Pike County Chess Club To Hold USCF-Rated Tournaments In Milford, PA

     Our chess club will finally be holding USCF-rated chess tournaments in Milford, Pennsylvania. They will take place 1-2 times monthly at various time controls. You don’t have to be a “good” chess player to play in tournaments; you just have to enjoy the game. So whether you’re a beginner or a master, come join us! The information below pertains to our first tournament, which is scheduled for Saturday, January 7, 2012.

TIME CONTROL: G/90 d/5
ROUNDS: 10-1:30-4:45
BYES: Please do not enter if you can’t play in all rounds.
REGISTRATION: 9:15-9:45 Don’t forget your current USCF ID card or Chess Life mailing label
PRIZES:
$50 1st per quad
$50 1st in bottom-section swiss (when applicable)
$25 2nd in bottom-section swiss (when applicable) with 6-7 players
